When thinking about my favorite things, my mind travels back a couple of years when I was in Utah fly-fishing on the Little Provo River. What a magical day it was. I had the very best guide - Joe - who knew that river like the back of his hand. He'd just say "Drop your fly about 3 inches in front of that rock". And BAM - a hard strike and zing - the line went flying down the river. A large beautiful rainbow gave me a great fight and when he and I tired, we released him or her to rest and recover. It was like that all day long. This still life represents many fine days like that. Ah.......
